This CBC report by reporter Mike Wise provides a "tasty" explanation of how the proposed Mixed Member Proportional system might work differently than our current first-past-the-post system.

mmp is a real bad idea, look at those who do have it, usualy a minority and are dependent on smaller parties that have weird agendas, do we want to see the rhino party with the controling vote, or a religeous one/? i dont think so, the system we have now made us the best province and country in the world, bare none, so whats the problem, that is what the majority thinks and the way the majority will vote, on mass...

MMP is the system by which the Green Party obtained seats in Germany more than 20 years ago.

Now, they are a significant force in Germany. MMP made it possible.

Mike Wise is a very good reporter/journalist for CBC Toronto.
I very much like his reports.

Anony, "the system we have now made us the best province and country in the world, bare none, so whats the problem, that is what the majority thinks and the way the majority will vote, on mass"

Seems our education systems could use a little work though. Why not our political system? The longbow made its inventors the best archers in the world. I wonder why they don't still use that in warfare if it's the best...

Bare none? On mass?
