Ontario's Big Decision—but Do Voters Understand the Question?

The Epoch Times ran this excellent article yesterday on the October 10th referendum, "Ontario's Big Decision—but Do Voters Understand the Question?" by reporter Sharda Vaidyanath.

Here's an excerpt:

With the referendum on changing Ontario's electoral system less than a month away, proponents of the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) system worry that voters don't understand what it's all about.

In fact, many Ontarians aren't even aware there's going to be a referendum along with the provincial election on October 10.

And that's because Elections Ontario hasn't done its job of educating voters about changing the current First Past The Post (FPTP) election system, say experts, lamenting the fact that the vast majority of voters may not even know that the referendum provides a rare opportunity.
